Waste Tire Collection Event
The Waste Tire Collection Event returns Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7, from 8 AM to 3 PM and Saturday, August 8, from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Campbell County Road Department (1175 Racetrack Road, Alexandria). This is a FREE event for all Kentucky residents, sponsored by Kentucky Division of Waste Management.
Accepted tires: (Rims OK)

- Passenger
- Farm implement
- ATV
- Tractor
- Lawn
- Bicycle
- Motorcycle
- Golf cart
Not accepted: foam-filled, calcium-filled, OTR construction, solid tires with/without press-on rim, tires with bead greater than 1.75”, tracks, or sheet rubber.
No commercial haulers, contractors, businesses, scrap yards, recycling centers, or tire retailers. If you have more than 1,000 tires, please contact the Solid Waste Coordinator at SolidWaste@campbellcountyky.gov or 859-547-1866.
