Professional Career

Commissioner Lampe is Vice President of New Sales Development with Hub International, the employee benefits consulting and insurance services firm formerly known as HORAN Associates, Inc.

Public Service

Commissioner Lampe served six terms on the Fort Thomas City Council, where he chaired the Public Safety Committee and the Parks and Recreation Committee and served on the Public Works Committee and the Finance Committee. He was first elected District 3 Commissioner in November 2014 and was re-elected in 2018 and 2022. He is currently serving his third term. He relishes his role as County Commissioner and as an ambassador to our community partners, stakeholders, and residents.

Personal Background

Commissioner Lampe and his wife, Kim, are lifelong residents of Fort Thomas, where they raised their three children, Tyler, Will, and John. All three are married, and Commissioner Lampe and Kim have one granddaughter, Greta.

Education

Commissioner Lampe is a graduate of St. Thomas Elementary School, St. Xavier High School, and Xavier University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing in 1984.

Community Involvement

Commissioner Lampe is very active at his parish, St. Thomas, where he serves as a lector. He also chairs the Business Support Committee of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation Board.
